We now have a 4 Year (well almost!)

A lot has happened over the past few weeks.  A snow day and now a week later we celebrate our "baby boy's" 4th birthday!  I know, I can't belive we are old enough to have a 4 year old ether (thank you!)  The snow was a huge deal at our house, as I'm sure it was at every house with children.  Colbie only got to play in it for a little Friday night because she had a fever all day Saturday, so she observed from the inside on Saturday as it melted.
Colbie trying to figure out what's going on.
Grayson "working" on what we still don't know!

Toady we had Grayson's 4th birthday party.  Transformers, not sure why he's never seen the movie nor does he have any of the action figures - but Transformers non the less.  We had a blast.  The weather was BEAUTIFUL!!!!  The play set was in full "swing" (corny yet appropriate) this afternoon.  Jason has been working hard even in the snow to get it done.  Not there yet but playable still.  Everyone started out on the playset and then worked our way in for cake and ice ream along with presents followed up by the Pinata.  Hilarious to watch them swing at the pinata, especially with the transformers mask on.  Most parents would say take the mask off so you can see better, I however took a different approach.  I bought these party mask then realized they came in pieces and I had to put them together, which took seriously like a hour.  On top of this I put them on a shelf so Grayson and Colbie wouldn't mess them up and forgot about them until.......I saw them after we opened the presents, hince the reason I made up the rule that they had to wear a transformers mask to get in line to hit the pinata.  Plus it was more fun for the parents to watch.  Grayson had a blast and has not stopped talking about his party all night!

Grayson I can't believe you will be 4 on Tuesday.  You are growing so fast and I am so blessed to be call you my son.  You have come so far from that 5 lb little baby boy they handed me.  I see you growing into a young boy everday and soon a pre-teen.  WOW these 4 year have flown by so fast.  You amaze me each day at the new thing you learn and see in the world.  You remind me of all the wonderful blessing God has given right in front of my eyes. I love you with all my heart and I am so very proud of you!  Love, mommy
