reasons why i’m late

1.  the baby had poop up his back and i had to clean him up.

2.  my two year old decided that now would be the perfect time to have a melt down.

3.  thing 1 and thing 2 were fighting over what CD i would DJ for them.

4.  i couldn’t find my keys (because they were in the ignition.

5.  my kids can’t decided which item(s) to take in the car even though i’ve already told them them will be taking nothing inside where ever we are going.

6.  i’m trying to get my hair to not look dirty because i didn’t have time to wash it (again).

7.  my 5 year olds tights, ,or socks, feel funny and it took us 10 minutes to fix them.

8.  the baby threw up and we had to get that cleaned up.

9.  the dog is out of food and the 8 year old picks now to remember that is his chore.  which of course leads to the five year old remembering her chore is to fill up the water bowl.

10.  i can’t find my phone and it is on silent so it takes 5 times longer to find.

11.  someone has two different shoes on and never noticed.

12.  one of the kids is thirst and can’t make it another 30 seconds with liquid or they will die.

13.  my older two are fighting over who gets to get in the car first.

14.  i get ready and out the door early only to realize i have only enough gas to back down my driveway.


should i keep going or are you getting the point
